Evaluation and Tests

Each athlete is put through a series of evaluations specific to the requirements of the sport and the specialty position played. Each individual athlete's results are compared with other athletes of the same age, gender, weight, and sport. Personal programs are planned to meet each person's capabilities and goals. A selection of a set of assessment tools will be put together from the following:

  • Injury History & Rehab
  • Muscular Strength
  • Muscular Endurance
  • Power Jump/Vertical Jump 
  • Flexibility & Range of Motion
  • Kinesthetic Balance , Agility and Quickness on Cybex Reactor
  • Oxygen Uptake on-line analysis, Treadmill Tests (max VO2, anaerobic threshold, EKG)
  • Body composition analysis using whole body plethysmography (fat content, lean mass, ideal weight)
  • Gait Analysis, looking at form while walking / running on a treadmill as well as the computerized Footmaxx Analysis.
  • Nutritional requirements and dietary history
  • Complete sports physical exams
