Howard Roth PT, ATC
Howie is a principal in the
Institue and partner of Washington Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. He
received his undergradute degree in health, physical education, and teachers
certification from the University of Montana. He then recieved his
Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa.
Howie had been a
University of Washington assistant team athletic trainer for 20 years while at
the same time, being in private practice in Kirkland, before joining The
Institute. He has lectured on taping technique, injury prevention, and
rehabilitation at sports medicine conferences and was a trainer for the track
and field Olymipic Training Camp during the 1972 games. He has traveled
both nationally and internationally in support of NCAA athletic
Jilliann Postforoosh MPT
Jilliann completed her undergraduate work in psychology at the
University of Washington and then went to the University of Puget Sound where
she received her Masters in Physical Therapy. She has been working for
Washington Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation for over a year as a Physical Therapist.
is not working she loves the outdoors and looks forward to skiing year round
(water ski season straight into snow ski season!). Additionally, she enjoys
hiking and playing soccer.
She lives with her husband Darren and son
Michael Lewis MS, PT
An Eastside native, Mike graduated from Bellevue High
School before receiving his undergraduate degree at the University of Puget
Sound. While at UPS, he was a starter on defense while lettering Varsity
three years and also coached collegiate football. He was recognized as a
Conference Scholar Athlete. Mike graduated with honors with his Master of
Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University School of
Mike enjoys working
with patients of all ages and abilities. His expertise and interests are
in expediting his patients recovery and returning them to full activity
from orthopedic extremity and spine injuries and surgery.
His current role
also includes biomechanical gait analysis and orthotic
prescription (as well as web page design).
When not at The
Institute with his patients, Mike enjoys mountain biking, hiking, skiing,
and construction work on his home. Mike, his wife Sarah, and daughter
Anna live on the Eastside.
